SERVIZING APP FAQ

 

 

1.     What data do we collect from customers? Justify each entity

 

Answer - From resident, we collect the following:

 

a.     Name – We need Gate mgmt. system to know your name. One flat can have any number of users. Visitors coming at the gate tells whom do they want to meet and the verification of visitor happens for that flat and for the user who is using the application

b.     Email – It is a unique entity and used for all communication purpose

c.     Mobile – Servers may reach your out for VMS/Services/etc

d.     Flat – Flat No is important for providing service/gate mgmt..

e.     Vehicle Details(Optional) – For provisioning of your access at the Gate.

f.      Whether Tenant/Owner: For access mgmt. and few use cases like tenancy expiry and essential communication

 

2.     Is our PII(Personal Identifiable Data) data safe?

 

Answer: Yes, we do not pass on PII data to any third party. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. For communication purpose we use enterprise software that ensure high data standards policies. Your mobile number and email is not displayed to the guards at gate. Similarly very limited access with audit is even given to the admin. The company follows strict policies with respect to Data Security and have undergone various technical and security review. In many society this app is being used for various payment collection purposes. The product is integrated with multiple payment gateway and have gone PCI-DSS compliance checks during independent Audits conducted.

 

3.     Is our Visitor data safe?

 

Answer: Servizing provides a feature which does not require visitor to share their mobile number at the Gate. This ensure efficient privacy management by avoiding PII data leak at the gate. Similarly Servizing doesn’t require manual photo clicks at the Gate. The provision to take photograph via CCTV camera allows automation and ensure leakage prevention at the Gate, which could be a potential PII leakage source.

 

4.     Where are data stored?

 

Answer: Enterprise standards are followed. Cloud Services of Google, AWS, S3 and Vultr are primarily used. Enterprise security standards are pre-requisites for these platforms.

 

 

5.     What all app permission are needed in this app?

 

Answer: As per the latest Android guidelines, the runtime permission have been enabled. Very limited permission are required to run this app. User have full control to disable/enable any permission and reach out to us in case you need justification of any permission that may not be needed in the app.

7.     Can anyone login to the Servizing App?

Answer: No, only the residents whose email ids are registered on the Servizing App. Registrations are approved via CVV process by the admin team

 

 

8.     How many people in an apartment can use the app?

Answer: There is no restriction on the number of users per flat.

 

 

9.     How do I toggle between multiple apartments/societies using Servizing?

Answer: You can do the same by clicking on the menu button on the top left corner and click on Switch Flat. All the apartments where your number is registered will be listed, you can select from the list where you want to enter.

 

 

10.  Are there a possibilities to customize notifications/call from Gate?

Answer: Yes, Communication preferences can be set using menu button on top left corner.
